Start from the financial source
Each connection has one reviewed source of financial authority, such as a billing export, cost report, or organization cost report. Usage or telemetry does not become billed cost unless the source reconciles it.
Normalize without erasing meaning
Common fields make cross-provider comparison possible while provider-specific account, project, subscription, service, resource, workspace, model, and API-key dimensions remain identifiable.
Conserve the authoritative total
Credits, refunds, taxes, shared amounts, and unallocated values remain explicit. PruneFox does not redistribute missing attribution or add alternative cost bases together.
Serve completed results
Customer pages read authorized cost views generated from completed imports. They do not call a provider while the page is loading.
